Today? I'm just so devistated by the Tsunami. I lived in Kho Phi Phi and have many friends missing or dead. I was just curious if there is anything uplifting to begin my New Year.

As far as uplifting news, mmm, I haven't been on too much today, just working my way backwards through the latest. I am touched however by the way the goodness of people and focus on helping in the tragedy is strong.

I too experienced a loss this month, a devastating loss to me individually. The only thing that comforts me is that it is a new year, a new beginning and I guess hope. Maybe spring would be a better time for hope. It is coming. I hope you find many of the missing and that you will eventually know peace.

New Years is not just for celebrating, but for reflecting and renewal. There is much to reflect on this year. God bless all the victims and survivors of this terrible tragedy.
