2. I always like to remind folks that Bush sent millions to the Taliban

Five months befor the 9/11 attacks. Forty three million to the Taliban as part of a misguided dope deal to keep the Afgani farmers from growing opium. The taliban had a two or three year supply, so they took the money (and ran to Osama?).
Taliban abuses and the knowledge that they were harboring terrorists were well-documented at that time, but Bush sent them millions and Colin Powell praised them for their efforts in assisting our "war on drugs". This incidently, was about the time John Walker Lyndh was beginning his spiritual quest.
Did Bush actually finance the Trade Center and Pentagon attacks?
Those disasters cost a million or two to pull off. Bush sent them 43 million. Did John deserve 20 years and Bush gets off scott free?
Hmmmmm.
