Our copters taking photo op today
on CNN.... It is almost a full week. What better use of Military than to aid disaster rather than causing it.

I think the military of all nations should have used copters immediately to bring in water, food, tents. Bet China, Japan, India had copters. Even Thailand.

There was a news item this am about an Indonesian island...very remote who had very few deaths because the culture had brought down tales of earthquake and wave from much earlier generations. They all knew to run to high ground.

We now know to put in tsunamis warnings...but now we also know to bring in aid with miliary copters. Aid planning for all disaster needs to be increased now.

Military should be used for such not war. War and killing is just not acceptable anymore
Global warming and peak oil have to be prepared for now....as well as overpopulation.

Its logical and its ethical. Compassion for all being must function as primary.

1. Yeah, but not the V-22 Osprey

If they tried to fly that albatross, they'd only end up killing more people.

But here in the Fort Worth area, it's very important to keep those 2,500 people working at Bell Helicopter than it is to actually make a flying machine that, well, flies.

Despite my negative attitude toward the non-flying "chopper", I'm glad to see those other, antiquated machines still functioning and doing good things.

On edit: tense change (and I didn't drink at all last night!).
