Poll question: The nine definite candidates + one |
Okay, I'm just curious. What happens when we put Clark in the field with the other nine.

1. I shouldn't be surprised |
If Clark was not there, my vote would have been for Dean.

I will vote for Dean unless Clark runs.

I wonder if people are watching these results.

7. Keep in mind this is an internet poll |
And is subject to "freeping" (Clark-ing?)

9. Well, every other poll asking about candidates has been "Deaned" |
So I can only conclude that even though no candidacy has been announced, some supporters of Dean would go over to Clark if a candidacy was announced.

Just reminding everyone that people from Clark's website(s) have been busted for using freep-style tactics here and elsewhere.

15. Well, with that signature pic makes your credibility unassailable! |
Sure it must be freeped, Arianna isn't leading!

14. Perhaps DUers are getting bored. |
In previous Dean-Clark contests, the numbers were around 300 a piece for Dean and Clark.

8. I watched all of CNN when Aaron Brown and Wesley Clark was on |
I was impressed then, and continue to like Clark more after his appearance on Maher's show the other night.
Soon the link margin on the DU homepage will have a link under Clark. :)

10. I am curious as to if Clark would do better among the off-line crowd |
then on line. If you look around on the internet it seems to be dominated by Dean and Kucinch. Yet in the polls Dean is not that far ahead and even behind many others. I think if Clark does well on DU he would do very well off line. I like Clark, Kerry, and Edwards. However, I will vote Clark if he enters because I think he will get more votes in the general election from independants and Republicans than Edwards or Kerry would.

16. I Think There's No Question Clark Would Do Better in the Real World |
DU is significantly more liberal than the average Democratic voter (and much more liberal than the average Independent voter, in those many states where Independents can vote in the Democratic primary).
Typically, Dean outpolls Clark here in these types of polls by a slight margin. That speaks very well of Clark, IMO, and I can't wait to see how he does in the real world if and when he does declare.
