I thought I had an idea of what is going on over there from watching the news. But last night I quietly went through the pictures posted at the NYT website, and it occurred to me that I am only beginning to understand the devastation and the humanitarian disaster that is going on over there. I encourage you to take a look at the still pictures. Go to the NYT homepage, then click on the link beside "Photos" under the headline story. They also have nice explanatory graphics of the tsunami event.
