What is the RW's true Long-Term goal?
What do they want? I think it goes much farther than a simple one-party state.

Global Domination - Do they want to control the world?

Total Economic Monopoly - Does the RW want to have control over the economy and make sure that the elite always have control over the economy?

Delusion - Does the RW believe that they and they alone have the ability to create and administrate a 'shining city upon a hill'?

Or, is it something else?

2. for one thing, don't confuse RW with Neocons...
do a google for "Project for a new american century".

Those are the neocons, which have coopted the GOP. Their long range goal is complete world domination, with American as "global leader". To do this, their first target was Iraq, as outlined in 1997. From there, the rest of the middle east. Once they control all the oil, the hegemony continues to the rest of the world until all knees bow to Halliburton.

think I"m kidding? unfortunately, I'm not.

3. Good link on PNAC and neo-con agenda
I've found this article does a good job of laying out the dangers of the neo-con agenda.

4. Social engineering which will give them power through a feudalistic
society. It's the politics of divide and conquer. Where a very small minority can control large geographical areas. Right now, local power is in the hands of a few powerful people. The names may differ, but their end is the same. What surprises me is how these Randloph Hearst types can get away with so much and still remain under the radar.

Why won't people talk?

7. What is the *true* agenda of the radical rightwingers?
What is the *true* agenda of the radical rightwingers including George Walker Bush?

To turn the legal clock back to approximately 1890. To swallow all of Lyndon Johnson's "New Society," Franklin Delano Roosevelt's "New Deal" and some of Teddy Roosevelt's laws as well. To get the entire federal government off their backs. Without the union of the states as a centralized federal government, the state governments will be useless. This, so that corporate America may make similar inroads as it did from 1890 to 1935.

There's huge sums of money to be made.

However, the Republican Party cannot, alone, achieve this goal. Why? Because they are not high in numbers. Instead, the Republican Party needs a coalition to acquire its goal.

So it lies. And it twists reality. It uses the unknowning, the ignorant, the ill-educated in order to achieve its much sought after goal. A coalition of the ignorant in order to acquire a goal to crush the ignorant.

They see the Religious Right as means to their Imperial America end, though.

17. They see it as a way to control and manipulate the masses.
But I don't think they are at all religous themselves. They certainly don't live like they are.

10. THe Dominating Force in the World
They want a total worldwide economic dependence on America, with the USA being immune to threats and unable to be challenged. Sort of a quasi-fascist American Empire, really.

14. Yes, they want complete and total control
Edited on Sat Jan-01-05 07:26 PM by OhioBlues
The really ugly thing about it is how easily they have slipped into the role of dictatorial, plutocratic, fascist, aristocrats. People are blidly following along and allowing this. They are sheep, due to hive mind and tribal thinking this is where we are. You can't blame the RW without lookng at who is allowing this. The RW made believers out of the sheep.

15. The leaders of the rightwing want to be kings and queens.
Nothing less. Many of the supporters would go right along with it. They claim to love freedom but work to restore monarchy. It wasn't that long ago that American tories supported the monarchy.

18. the right wing wants t...mmm......
Edited on Sat Jan-01-05 07:55 PM by Solly Mack
power

money to maintain and increase that power

a population that is beat down enough to not offer resistance (for the dissenters and would be dissenters, that is)

for the believers, they want them gullible enough to buy into their vision of America

they want a clear line between those with power/money...and everyone else

and they want to do this while maintaining the illusion of freedom.

They MUST maintain that illusion....for when people think they have freedom, they resist less.

They seek control of the schools and the media because both aid them in their quest

They want a world where they can live as they want to live without answering to anyone for their actions....and they'll walk over anyone they have to to get it. They view people like us as being in their way. We're not fellow Americans, we are the enemy of their aspirations.

In their dream of America...she looks the same on the outside...flag waving patriots who love their country, root for democracy and proclaim her greatness above all else (no matter the reality)....but on the inside? it's a country where people have been reduced to Ameri-bots. Too ignorant to know they don't know....
