I've seen people who should know better running for county positions vowing to cut state taxes. Course they were Repubs running it a Democratic district so they didn't win, but still.

wasn't that a wilson thing that lowered the tax and left a provision to raise it again? could he lower it?.

14. Cruz has a better plan -- first 20K in value, no tax. Anything over that
gets taxed.

It's nice compromise for a bad budget year. It's progressive.
