1. Sorry, but "no" to Doug... |
|
He may be an okay guy, but his tenure in Richmond almost destroyed the Dem party in Virginia. Despite Warner's win it hasn't fully recovered. The fact that we had Gilmore and Allen, and now Allen is a frigging Jr. Senator, says a lot. It is the unspoken truth among many Va dems about Doug, as much as he might be personally liked, that he set the party back in the Commonwealth.
You will very likely disagree, but just my 2 cents.

6. unfortunately it hasn't been that long. |

Chuck was my other disappointment from 2000. Not only was Florida a disaster, but when I heard that Robb lost to Allen, I knew then that we were going to hell in a bucket.
George Allen is a horse's ass.....And some in the GOP consider him as potential presidential material. Lord Help Us All....

Even our Democratic governors in Utah have been left of center.
But at least we got a (D) by his name. That helps come 2004.

forced through some very unpopular legislation. That's a large part why Terry lost, and why we have had such a rough time in VA lately.
