Since when do AMERICANS complain about sending |
|
aid to areas that have been decimated by a disaster? One of the great things about the US is that we always come to the aid of others. This past week, on the RW radio talk shows, about all I heard was criticism of the amount of money we are sending to the tsunami victims. Of course, they were not criticizing King George, just everyone else, especially the UN. The worst thing is that so many people were calling in and agreeing that we should not help them because they are "muslims" and want to see us dead.
It gets harder and harder to witness what has become of our country under this evil administration.

1. Our leadership does make a difference |
|
When a country's leaders are self-involved narcissistic sadistic thieves, that kind of behavior is modeled and eflected among the citizenry. Talk radio in particular provides a voice for this kind of evil.
One day a lot of Americans might wake up and be ashamed of themselves, but it's probably too much to expect.
What angers me the most is that this behavior is being sold as "Christian." That really makes me want to vomit.

I am becoming more and more uncomfortable in this country. It seems that the society was just waiting until they had a leader who would allow their worst character traits to come out. It always seems to happen this way. I don't get it but I guess that is why I am uncomfortable.

6. I have thought many times |
|
that one of GW's genuine "talents" is bringing out the worst in people. I was horrified at the things that would come out of my mouth when I yelled at the TV when he was on. I finally stopped watching the news. You can see it in the people in this country and world wide. The scary thing is that Rove and his minions figured out a way to make it marketable.

3. Hundreds of Billions for killing - That's OK |
|
A pittance for disaster relief and all hell breaks out. Gee, doesn't anyone realize what goes around comes around? The Muslims maybe want us dead because we are killing them without cause. I seem to remember a time not that long ago when we were giving Peace a chance and things were going much smoother.

4. We only like helping nations in ways that involve lots of killing |
|
Imagine, people rally behind a military invasion that kills tens of thousands for a supposedly good reason, but we can't send a few hundred million to save lives. What a bunch of backward BS.

8. try this: turn off the freaking radio! |
|
why on earth do you listen to RW talk radio anyway.
I have subjected myself to hours of cable news all week because of this disaster and have not heard one person make the statements that you quote.
And those are All conservative stations.
