Bush ruins everything --- including "Hidalgo"

Major spoiler if you haven't seen it.....

So I'm watching the movie tonight...la, la, la .. hey, it's Omar Sharif... la, la, la, la.... it's a horse movie.

Then at the end, when Hopkins buys the horses that were going to be killed and sets them free, I start screaming at the screen "don't let them go, George Bush is gonna kill them, Bush is gonna kill them."

Well, Bush ruined the film for me, and my outburst surprised my friends. I printed out Chris Floyd's article, reprinted at Smirking Chimp http://www.smirkingchimp.com/article.php?sid=19138&mode=nested&order=0 and read it to them.

EVERYTHING Bush is about is DEATH.

Even watching a silly movie reminded me of that.

6. that was a beautiful movie in so many ways

I loved Viggo's character's interaction with Hildalgo.

I was the same, too, when I saw Omar Sharif... I was like "Hey!!! There's Omar Sharif! Haven't seen him in a long time. And he's a bridge (the card game)officinado." Loved his character in the movie, too.
