Only in Britain. Michael Meacher served as a minister for six years until three months ago in Britain. Here is the article from the Guardian http://www.guardian.co.uk/september11/story/0,11209,1036588,00.html(Real Audio)http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/listenagain/ram/today3_meacher_20030906.ram

1. Listened to it earlier this evening, |
|
the link was posted in another thread, but I'm glad to see it reposted.
Meacher was calm and articulate, the interviewer seemed a bit hostile, imho. I mainly wished it had been a lot longer than 6 minutes -- it was a good listen nevertheless.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=287657Lots of articles listed quoting Meacher, including Yahoo, but no major American news media that I have seen yet. (Still catching up on my reading.) We may be on our way out of the Bushes.

by every voter in America. I just read it at Truthout a few minutes ago, and it blew me away.
Well said, Mr Meacher!

7. Wasn't there an airliner hijacking war-game scenario on 9-11? |
|
If that's true, it certainly offers a reason that any 'standown' orders would be followed.

8. Conspiracy: agreement between persons to do something illegal or criminal. |
|
How did we get to the point that investigation into any conspiracy could be stopped by simply calling the investigator a Conspiracy Theorist?
Perhaps a clever criminal lawyer could use this defense in their next case, calling the prosecutors "Loony Conspiracy Theorists".

9. Thank you. It maddens me |
|
that it's thought sufficient to dismiss evidence as the "stuff of conspiracy theories," as though a conspiracy is beyond the pale of American history. Spare me the snide strawmen about UFOs. Ask the ghost of John F Kennedy about conspiracy.
Investigate, damn it. There are incontestable facts which need an accounting. What makes most sense of the evidence?
As another LIHOPer, Gore Vidal has written, "apparently 'conspiracy stuff' is now shorthand for unspeakable truth.'"
