Some time ago, I read an item by Lewis Lapham, in which he says:
( and I am paraphrasing),There are only two things important in life.First, work that gives an outlet for your creative energies;and second, love that gives meaning to that work.

The tsunami has made me realize that quite possibly a third important item could be added.Action in the service of people most in need of it.

What made me post this was looking at a picture of Audrey Hepburn from another thread yesterday. There was one person beautiful inside and out. A great life, well lived.
