Why is Jeb going to tour the tsunami destruction? |
|
I have not been following the news in the last few days but I caught a snippet this A.M. about Jeb heading over there.
What's up with that?

devastation from the hurricanes he can organize things. What a laugh, he's only going over there to make himself look good in the repukes eyes for 2008.:puke:

7. He's experiencing withdrawal from disaster tours after hurricane season |

ended.
It's posturing, plain and simple. In reality, he's doing the same thing he did when he toured some areas of Florida. Getting in the way of people trying to do relief work.
Sorry, but this is one of my pet peeves. Politicians and celebrities should stay the hell out of disaster areas and let people on the ground get their work done. The presence of an entourage creates an even greater strain on already strained resources and distribution activity. The hotel rooms being used to lodge JEB and cronies could be put to better use.
Just my opinion.
Call me "Double Bushwhacked in Florida" Hmmmm...now that would be quite a screen name.

jeb bush is the last person on earth, w. wants to see in the oval office.

11. The officila word is because he has so much experience w/disaster relief |
|
from Florida's hurricanes.
In reality, I think it's because they're priming him for a presidential run in '08 and this will give him some "international" experience. x(

17. Thanks for all the answers. I seriously thought I missed some |
|
announcement that Jeb is now on some special committee or part of his bro's cabinet.
Nothing to see here, just a political stunt, starting the campaign early.
Geez, I can't believe this country would vote another bush into office. But I still can't believe W is president.
My depression grows deeper yet.

it's because of his experience with the 4 hurricanes. He really did do a fantastic job! I live here, I know. But the real reason is he's being groomed to run for president. Better be careful, Jeb is very likable. Unlike his brother, he speaks well, commands attention, is efficient and smart. His approval ratings were astronomical after the hurricanes and still are high! I'd be worried if Jeb ran for president, he's got Florida in the bag! But, he has the baggage of Noel, his daughter, which may keep him from running (I hope).

Senior citizens here saw George Bush and Jeb Bush handing out bags of ice and talking with them and it sealed Kerry's fate. Very few people even mentioned Kerry's name after that. The hurricanes helped Bush get re-elected!

26. jeb bush's experience with hurricane disaster relief in florida is that of |
|
giving the relief money to the areas and the people who were hardly hit by the hurricane, keeping it from those areas and people who were hit the hardest and need it the most, and lastly keeping much of the money in the bank vaults without releasing the money. PLUS... the buhses want to power grab the world and what better way to leave some bush stinky pooh than to send JEB along to know that they the bushes are a reckoning force (who are hated by most) in this world.
