Why has a senior commander involved in the invasion of Iraq been assigned to lead the US emergency relief program? No one tells the member countries about the "earthquake". However, the US DOES WARN its military base in the aera. And from this military base, part of the invasion of Aceh is proceeding with TWO AIRCRAFT CARRIERS and led by the U.S.'s pre-emptive invasion of Iraq leadership. "In a bitter irony, part of this operation is being coordinated out of America's Naval base in Diego Garcia. The US warns its naval base, though fails to warn Indian Ocean rim governments. "...the strike group, with its seven ships, 2,100 Marines and 1,400 sailors aboard, also has four Cobra helicopters..."

The oil rich Aceh area, which like Iraq, was suffering from a civil war making oil extraction difficult. THE AMERICAN NAZI ANSCHLUSS MOVES OUT FROM IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN--INTO ACEH: An·schluss: A political union, especially the one unifying Nazi Germany and Austria in 1938.

The way to think of it is as a line of credit, frankly, that here is money available to be drawn upon to get equipment, to develop capacity, to provide supplies and relief to the people in need, as those needs are identified and as the institutions are identified that are capable of making use of the money. So think of it as a line of credit to be drawn down upon, as opposed to just a pot of money to be thrown out there.

8. Hmmmm.......

When I read about the strategically positioned Aceh and references to the Malaysian oil fields, I gotta admit the idea of a hidden reason for sending ships and marines into the area began to cross my mind..... Not ready yet to "buy in" to the idea of our government actually causing the earthquake, however. (William Cohen's remarks in 1997 notwithstanding).

11. I've thought about nations having the capability to cause natural

disasters. The scariest part of it, I think, is that it is never, ever discussed- even as an impossibility. Not that I'm really on top of the news or independent news sources, but it just seems like something that's never even approached. Am I right? And that's kind of creepy. I find it hard to believe that this capability is not something sought after and who better to suspect really than this administration. "Rebuilding America's Defenses" lays out such an elaborate set of plans (regarding military technology especially) that borders on the fantastic; after reading that, I don't find the thought of cultivating the ability to manipulate nature to do things beneficial to a particular group very farfetched at all.
