On my way to work this morning, the LaRouche followers were out in droves. One of them tried to give me their litter du jour, and said "George Bush is going to raid your pension fund." At first not realizing they were LaRouchites, I contemplated taking the info. Then saw LaRouche's name on it. I told the guy, "The only bigger asshole in politics than Bush is LaRouche." I got a blank stare.

We'd all be better off. It would be much easier to write off Larouche as a wingnut if anyone else bothered to pass out litertature to middle class people about how their Social Security is being stolen. But no, we can't do that obviously.
