Ray Taliaferro has let me down
I have listened to Ray on KGO on and off for the last 15 years, but this time my faith in him is badly shaken.

Throughout the campaign he said every day with absolute certainty that Kerry would win, that he would win by a margin that was unambiguous enough such that the Republicans wouldn't even be able to steal the election. He hammered this message home day after day after day. When I felt the outcome of the race was in doubt I would listen to ray's show on KGO for morale boosts.

Then all of a sudden on November 3rd Ray just started pretending like he never said any of those things, making no acknowledgement of his error. I will have to spend the next several months deciding whether or not I can ever trust him again.

1. The election was still very much in doubt on Nov. 3
with overcounts and strange goings on in Ohio. I listened to Ray on Nov. 3, and he wasn't throwing in the towel on the election at that time, not by a longshot.

2. Hmm...
I'm not sure what you want from him. I've lost no respect for him at all - I'm listening to him right now.

3. No he didn't
The day after the election he sounded very depressed (unlike his usual power) Then on the next show he started saying that he hoped that the election fraud investigations would change the outcome. He has been exposing voter disenfranchisement regularly and he is a shining star!

Check out his links page...

Listen to him at 1:00am on KGO

He is on track.

Long time listener

5. He is a bright light of reason on a cold dark night indeed!
He speaks from the heart with a clear mind.

Listening now...

Making fun of the fools!

7. I stopped listening to him too
I listened to Ray for around a year and a half, but his election predictions were all wrong, so I didn't bother listening after election night. I did the same with Bernie Ward. What is left to discuss at a time like that? It's like you're involved in a big car accident, battered and bloodied, and a salesman for oil filters pops up and tries to get you to buy one of his filters. You simply are not interested anymore.

I'll come back to Ray in two years.
