So where's the Compassionate Conservatism
Edited on Wed Jan-05-05 05:40 AM by cornermouse
in pre-emptive war?

in continual requests for another $100m every few months for that highly questionable war while they and the media studiously ignore Afghanistan? Remember them and bin Laden?

in reconfiguring the unemployment figures to not include an embarrassingly large number of the unemployed after their benefits end and they still can't find a job?

in collecting what is literally a mountain of national debt?

in creating a drug bill for seniors that is difficult to navigate for anyone and including a type of penalty or punishment for those who don't jump out there and sign up immediately?

in creating faith-based organizations and giving them federal tax money?

If you believe in Compassionate Conservatism, you must also believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny.

3. Frontline: The Jesus Vote.
The open hypocrisy, cockiness, and pride displayed by some of the interviewed made me angry.

4. That seems to be their way. They have the power and
they don't care how they got it. But they're going to use it and ram it down our throats. They make me sick!

5. behind every act of "compassionate conservatism" lies . . .
a hidden neocon agenda that is not healthy for children and other living things . . .

even tsunami aid is being used to re-establish an American military foothold in south Asia . . .
