THE WHORES ARE IN OVERDRIVE IN PREPARATION FOR DA SPEECH |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-07-03 07:26 AM by Skittles
on CSPAN, some hack writer is going on about how Clinton failed to get bin Laden and so, of course, unleashed the global terror poor Dubya has to deal with.
On CNN I saw Rumsfeld live in Afghanistan, talking about progress and what needs to be done. CRISIS IN THE MIDDLE EAST, it says. It's an ENORMOUS PROBLEM with NO EASY SOLUTIONS, you understand.
On my local station I saw a guy being interviewed about the structural integrity of the towers, how it was amazing they stood as long as they did. Naturally, several shots of the planes slamming in had to be shown.
No doubt the BUSH INC whores will be spinning like crazy on the Sunday talk shows.
Bring 'em on.

2. Clinton handed BushCo all kinds of intelligence |
|
when they began the administration and they chose to ignore it. The most telling blow is when Ashcroft vetoed spending for additional FBI agents dedicated to terrorism-on September 10, 2001.

3. They also rejected 3 years of work in the Hart/Rudman Report |
|
on counter terrorism... which called for beefing up airport security among other things.
Arrogant mistake which cost 3000+ lives.

it's tough to multi-task like that. They still haven't quite got the knack but they're getting there. After all, just this last week, they managed to screw the pooch on foreign policy AND eviscerate the environment at the same time.

There were no "terra-lerts" for the 4th of July, none for Labor day, but we do have a few for the 2nd anniversary of 9-11. Homeland Insecurity had previously said that they did not anticipate upping the 'lert level to Orange...
so my question is: If whistleass's speech really "bombs" tonight, will we have an Orange Alert in a week or so?

The last elected President Mr Clinton did about terrorism. After reading Al Franken's new book, it makes me so sick that the media and the bush cartel blamed Bill first. It's a crime.

8. Was the name of the hack writer Posner? |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-07-03 09:31 AM by suegeo
I think I read on DU that Posner (the hack writer blaming Clinton for everything) also wrote a major propaganda/rag piece about the Kennedy assassination a few years ago called "Case Closed." This book came out just after some more de-classified documents about the assassination were released. Because there was no lone gunman on that job, the powers-that-be didn't know what the documents would reveal, so they had their tool (Posner) spin a yarn about how that case was so closed.
(Yeah, magic bullet my ass.)
Some closet fascist that I work with suggested that I read that book. Instead, I checked out a book called "Case Open" which refutes the lies and bull $hit.
I have not checked to make sure that Posner is the author of "Case closed" but that is what I read on DU. If he is the author, it is important to note how full of establishment $hit he is. Equally important, note that the wingers must be pretty scared about what will happen if their complicity in the Sept. 01 attacks gets exposed, even just a little, to send out their "high class" $2000 a night whores to spin, eh.
ON EDIT I checked Amazon, and Posner is indeed the "author" (i.e. highly paid propagandist) of "Case closed"

I saw Katie interview him on the Today show last week. I stopped listening when he blamed Clinton.
During the interview, I believe I heard Mr. Posner pronounce Bin Laden incorrectly too. Irritating AND a whore. Ick.

11. So is tonight's speech timed |
|
to distract from the Showtime propaganda film about how W supposedly acted on 9-11 has opposed to how he really acted?
If W wasn't giving a speech tonight, wouldn't that movie been a big topic on the talking head shows this morning? Now it's totally off the radar.
