The biggest threat to conservatives in general, and Neocons in particular, are internet sites such as these. They cannot exert the control over the flow of information that they want, or limit it's dissemination. They are thus relegated to trying to denigrate and disrupt sites where free-thinkers can share their thoughts, opinions and ideas.

It would have to be up to the mods, but there is a clear distinction between the unsubstantiated, barely plausible theories (WTC & was full of TNT, CHEMTRAILS!, Earthquake was set off by HAARP or underground nukes), and workable, highly plausible theories that mainstream progressive groups want looked into (Ohio voters were systematically disenfranchised, Bush financial connections to the Saudis have prevented him from effectively dealing with Saudi terror, etc.)

I have tried to no avail to throw water on the sillier conspiracy threads, because they do exactly what right-wing sponsored shows like Art Bell do - throw curious minds off the track of logical conspiracies and distract them with fanciful tales of missiles being shot into the Pentagon and jumbo-jets full of passengers being hidden away for no particular reason.

The right are a deceitful, well-funded and well-organized lot. There are undoubtedly all kinds of schemes being orchestrated all the time, but we do not serve ourselves by speculating about wild theories with no substantiation whatsoever.

But I agree that Fox does suck, big-time, and our kooky theories are no worse than some of the crap promoted by the right-wing sites - how's this one?
