37. why not go down to your local police office and get the arrest record?

that's how bush* DUI arrest/conviction was exposed....someone just walked into the Kennebunkport police office and got the record....

these are PUBLIC RECORDS....

BTW, wonder why no one in DENVER COLORADO has looked up bush* arrests...seems there were several during neil bush* Silverado days...remember how bush* claimed he found GOD at the BROODMOOR HOTEL in Colorado Springs while celebrating his brother's birthday.....no one questioned why 'Midland' boy bush* was hanging around in Colorado Springs, and if there are any bush* arrest records there too......

50. If you're suggesting Rush cruised gay sex in the 70s
then I will have died and gone to heaven.

I'm usually against outing people against their will, but in this case I would make an exception. His audience may have forgiven the drug use and the ACLU fraternization, but this would end him.

12. Was it really a rectal cyst that kept Rush out of the military?
"The best story concerns Rush Limbaugh, the ferociously bellicose radio personality, who allegedly had either "anal cysts" or an "ingrown hair follicle on his bottom". It is not my custom to mock others' ailments, but anyone who has listened to Limbaugh's programme can imagine the dripping scorn he would bring to the revelation that a prominent Democrat had skipped a war over something like that. Also, in his case, a pain in the arse is peculiarly appropriate."

That, or maybe Rush got a back door job when he wasn't expecting it...

Claim:   Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh once told a black caller to "Take that bone out of your nose and call me back."

Status:   True.

This incident occurred not on Rush Limbaugh's now-familiar talk and political commentary radio program, but at the beginning of his broadcast career back in the early 1970s when he was hosting a Top 40 music show under the name "Jeff Christie" on either WIXZ or KQV in Pittsburgh.)

I wouldn't let my kid on crutches within a zillion feet of Mr. Rush Christie...

What else does he hate? If you dig deep enough, you'll probably find out that he is what he professes to despise, across the board. Of course, that would make him a closet liberal!!!

Oh, the humanity!!!!!!!!!!

31. Don't have any info but if you find copy of arrest record...
better check the d.o.b. etc. carefully. There were way over a million people living in this area at that time and that doesn't sound like an uncommon name.

34. Well, I used to work in radio and...
...I can tell you right now that 95 percent of the announcers use assumed names. So "Jeff Christie" might be "Rush Limbaugh," and neither might be the individual's actual name.

If this is true, that would put another cork in the blowhard! (Uh, pun INTENDED!)

35. Jeff Christie was the name he used when he worked in Pittsburgh...
radio. All I'm saying is that if someone finds an arrest record around here for a Jeff Christie, they better check to make sure that all the data matches and it was in the time frame when he worked here because I'm pretty sure there was probably more than one Jeff Christie living in this area since the population was well over a million+ people. It is not an unusual name. I know who his boss was when he worked here and I know where his boss works now if somebody finds an arrest record. He could probably verify if the arrest record belongs to Limbaugh aka Jeff Christie.

40. Here. I Didn't Know He Replaced Morton DOWNEY
*******QUOTE*******

http://user.pa.net/~ejjeff/christie.html

http://www.reelradio.com/jay/#kqv74jc

When Downey was terminated for politically incorrect statements in 1984, a nearly unknown Rush Limbaugh took his place. Downey went on to WMAQ in Chicago, and later, television.

Listen up, you people! All across the fruited plain, Mary Snerdly and all the other rich kids were enjoying the Award-Winning Jeff Christie Rock and Roll Radio Show on KQV, Pittsburgh, in 1974.

You may not recognize the voice immediately (it's pitched lower these days), but you will recognize a few of the trademark phrases that Christie still uses today.

This is an excellent aircheck of late-model KQV, and the fun and frolic therein is a classic example of Excellence in Broadcasting, presented by the man we know today as . . . Rush Limbaugh.

47. I never knew he worked for KQV until I googled...
from your post. My friend fired him from WIXZ in McKeesport. It looks like he was part-time at KQV and once he lost his fulltime job at WIXZ, he could not have stayed here with only a parttime job at KQV. I never knew he worked at KQV and never heard he was fired from anyplace except WIXZ.

49. Yes...
Told him he had no future in radio. My friend no longer works in the radio business and Limbaugh has introduced a new form of AM radio and is probably the all time highest paid performer in radio. Guess my friend is not the ones with the brains, but on the other hand, we can give him credit for trying to strangle Limbaugh "in his cradle" before he could do any damage!

46. I have already posted everything I know...
Limbaugh worked in the Pittsburgh radio market in the early '70's and his on air name was Jeff Christie. Can't remember the stations call letters, but it was in McKeesport, PA. I have never heard that he was arrested for anything around here. He comes here to Steelers games a lot, he still has friends in the radio market some of which are still on the air. Most of the local TV stations are very liberal in their reporting as this is a heavily Democrat area. Had he been arrested while here for anything other than speeding, I think it would have been reported once he went national and on the air here. The Rooneys who own the Steelers are big Dem contributors and from their remarks have no use for Limbaugh. If they had any info with which to trash him, I believe they would have because I think they are not thrilled at his showing up for Steeler games which oftentimes makes the sports news since he causes a stir when people see him at the games and the Rooneys get associated with him for no reason except that he bought a ticket.

He was fired from his job as a rock 'n roll DJ at the McKeesport station by a childhood friend of mine. I know where this person is presently employed so if someone discovers an arrest record in the name of Jeff Christie or Rush Limbaugh in this area, I will be happy to tell you how to contact his former boss for confirmation that it is indeed the same person.
