One reason Bush is reluctant to order a massive relief effort for the |
|
tsunami victims is that he has genuinely bankrupted this country and would have to scrounge for funds. I think this is why he has tapped Bill Clinton and Bush the Elder to solicit funds from private donors to come up with the moneys needed.
The prodigal son returns and puts the arm on his own dad. What a twist in the old parable!

1. I think it is because he feeds off the suffering like a strange |
|
alien form of life (fallen angel). He likes suffering. That is why he is doing his best to create more and more, right here at home.

Doesn't have any trouble ordering up $100 Billion or so for his outrage otherwise known as Iraq.

4. You're way off base. ... The real reason is ... |
|
That his handlers cant get BushCo to properly pronounce the name of the city "Phuket." To make things worse, everytime he mispronounces it, he gets that sappy smirk on his face and starts to giggle in the high-pitched, girlish way he has.
And then there's that "how can it be a soo-nam-eee if it starts with a 't'?" discussion with Bushco.
All in all, not a very professional image for the "leader of the free world," so his handlers have chosen to try to get BushCo to avoid having him speak of the disaster in the same way they steer him away from mentioning "new-clear" energy.

President Bush has contributed $10,000 from his personal funds to the relief effort, his spokesman said Wednesday
or about 100 times less than what Sandra Bullock donated.

6. But Sandra doesn't have to worry about the deficit.Bush do.And didn't |
|
he promise to cut the deficit in half in the next four years or was it five years? It is all so confusing.First you create a mountain of deficits from the surpluses Bill Clinton left for you. Than you add to the deficit by going to war nobody wanted. Then you say you are going to cut the deficit. Nice work if you can get it.

Is his own personal money. Maybe he's so tight fisted because he knows the future economy ain't to sweet with his decisions. Although I leaning on the theory he knows he ain't getting the winfall that most ex-presidents get. Who would pay to hear Bush Speak. Let alone fork out big buck for a memoirs.
