memos authorizing torture? I can't remember all the guests, but it seems Gonzales didn't write the memo, but did approve it. The memo came out of Cheney's office. Chris was really hammering on this, and asked most of the guests why the Pres would take advice from people who were never in the military. It doesn't surprise me that this kind of crap originated from Cheney! Gonzales is apparently no more than another shrub yes man.

Was Cheney the one who directed Gonzales to write the ridiculous death penalty briefs there? I'm so furious over this nomination. the lack of coverage and that so many Democrats just do not get that Gonzales is as much a part of the Bush corruption as Cheney and has been for at least a decade.
