Will the tsunami-wrecked areas be rebuilt in the model of corporatized U.S |

areas, complete with Wal-Marts, McDonalds, gas stations, high-density housing tracts, Blockbuster videos, Starbucks coffees, and no open space or common areas? Will the money pouring in be used to rebuild the areas with sensitivity to cultural and regional concerns, tastes, fashions, customs and ideals? Or will they be turned into typical U.S. style "suburbs by the interstate"?
