Is Bush already a lame duck?
Seems like he's pegged. He can't do much anymore without the true evil intentions being exposed.

1. This social security thing is going to be hilarious.
Any time I hear the words "cut social security benefits" and "Bush" in the same article, I just have to laugh. Keep on spendin' that political capital, Georgie.

3. He has nothing to lose. Can't legally run again so no one to appease
or even pretend to appease...Still has the power of XO's. Still controls Congress more or less.

It's not like he cares what people think of him. Besides, his followers will go to their graves lauding him as a hero no matter what...

He'll cause more damage this time around than he did the first 4 years.

4. but the party 's jackboots are in locksetp
so any damage he does to himself, he does to the party.

They say fascism resembles a parody of itself, but in this case I think it's getting laughed out of relevance...

7. I don't think he cares about the party. They, too, are just a means to an
end for him. Goodness knows I don't care that he's hurting the republican party.

I think even Poppy used the republican party to get what he wanted. Had the democrats been more favorable to his ideas and goals, he would have used them as well and become a democrat.

5. Sadly I doubt he's a lame duck...

He may be lame...but that's about it.

I fully suspect that if/when he is able he will
begin to fully push his agenda...

Hope you're a Born again Evangelical...if not, you
may not like where we're heading.

6. He will be after tomorrow.
1/6/05 is the date the Democratic Party will be reborn (oops, that's today). Finally, we will file a real protest of the lousy electoral system. We're late, of course, and without our candidate but this isn't about Kerry. It's about our votes, our tradition of protecting Voting Rights, and our debt to the most loyal base any political party ever had, black Americans.

Once this years election is questioned, it will open the gates to serious questions about the election fraue and voter suppression. There is a huge case there. It will be on the table and it will be exposed on the internet, if not through elements of the CM (Corporate Media).

He is a lame duck and, after a few months, he'll harken back to that status bucause it WILL GET WORSE FOR HIM.

13. Hey Droopy, keep the faith. I went to the the rally at Lafayett, the
March, and the Capitol Hill Rally just to be there and lend a body. It was hyper energized and all the people that are busting ass for us in Ohio, NM and elsewhere were there: Arenbeck, Rev. Moss, Rev. Jackson, David Cobb, Arenbecks co-counsel, David Lytel, and a whole bunch of other people less famous but on the ground fighting. These people are old school, they're in it for the long haul, and you could really feel an extremely powerful movement and mission. It will happen.

Keep the faith.

9. plenty of evil left in him, Rove , Cheney, etal and I predict
he will ram through his evil shit really fast with the evil GOP controlled Congress. He is not a lame duck at all...he has a real agenda: destroy our right to civil suits, destroy as much as possible all social programs, destroy the national forests so his lumber buddies can get trees cheap, destroy clean air laws so his utility contributors can pollute, start a few more wars, send a few million more jobs overseas, etc. I think the first 4 years will be nothing compared to the next four.

14. * is lame, but we're the ducks. And we're sitting.
* has both houses of Congress, the Supreme Court, the mainstream media, fundies, and corporate Amerika. Not to mention all the hate-radio outlets, Clear Channel, etc.

It's gonna be tough to stop him from doing whatever the hell he wants. Dark times are ahead, sorry to say.
