About that tort reform

It seems that there is included a little something to prevent people from suing to recover from usage of Vioxx and other drugs for the pharmaceutical industry.

3.  people who buy into Bush' tort reform really slay me
it's as if they don't understand that the courts are our main avenue for securing/defending our rights. Making it harder to sue, makes it harder to fight for your rights.

Once they strip us of recourse, we're more than screwed.

If Big Pharma could just mfgr sugar pills, advert the stuffing out of 'em and ignore the relatives of everyone who dies waiting for them to "work"..

I mean, what's to stop them?
