Gonzalez conspired to commit fraud on the court in Texas, no mention. |
|
Back when Bush was governor, he was summoned to appear on a jury in a drunk driving case. Had he appeared, he would have been forced to answer, under oath, the question "Have you ever been convicted of drunk driving." Gonzalez was Bush's attorney, and Gonzalez submitted to the court a letter setting forth spurious grounds for why Bush should be excused from jury duty.
News reports from the 2000 election described Bush's actions as bordering on a fraud on the court. Gonzalez clearly conspired to help Bush avoid jury duty in order to keep his conviction(s?) covered up.
Will there be any mention of this at all in the hearings, or by the press?
