"I guess I come down more firmly in the Jon Stewart camp," {Carlson's former boss Jonathan} Klein told The Associated Press.

3. I hope he finds out what is like on unemployment
But I am afraid they paid him healthy enough that he will live too comfortably.

4. Why not Novakula?
Tucker's obnoxious but Novak is a pig. I don't think he was admiring Stewart for his politics but for saying that the show sucked. Also, my impression of Stewart's rant was that he was dissing CNN as a whole for not reporting the news like it should be reported, not Crossfire specifically.

So, if this executive is in complete agreement with Stewart then watch for some major changes throughout CNN. If it's only Crossfire he's pissed off with, then be prepared for more of the Rove propaganda network.

5. Pretty funny...

...and I suppose it might mean that CNN, maybe, still has some smidgen more of credibility than MSNBC, but I'm sure this will sail over li'l Tucker's head soon enough...he'll be shamelessly cheapening the discourse and helping to dumb down the electorate on some cable station or other for at least the forseeable future.
