Things I have learned today from the Gonzales hearings. |

They think Ashcroft is as bad as we do, it turns out.
Who ever was paying Gonzo was wasting their money. All he did and all he knew came from the Dept. of Justice, he just passed it along.
He has a large family. (Oh man is there a really bad joke just hanging there......nope won't do it)His family loves him. Children don't need to see those photos.
Gonzales has never done anything wrong.
Bush had even LESS power as Governor than I had thought, turns out that the clemency board had the reprieve power for death sentences. What exactly did he do?
Gonzales didn't bring up questions about death sentences (not that Bush could do anything about it apparently) if he didn't think the timing was right.
Texas was killing so many people that Gonzales can't remember the details of every case.
Evidence isn't important to our next Attorney General, turns out Bush did NOT approve the torture techniques despite documented evidence to the contrary.
Cornyn really is nuts.
The Federalist society are some real whackjobs.
I have a new appreciate for homo-eroticism after listening to Lindsey Graham and Gonzales talk to each other.
Forget the Lounge C-Span is the funniest thing going in the middle of the day.
I think he just said that US forces didn't torture anyone. I might have misheard that.

5. Hello! Check out Evan Bayh-Rumsfeld on that subject |
|
When Bayh was "questioning" Rumsfeld during the Abu Ghraib hearings, I thought at one point I had tuned into Queer as Folk.
