7. the elevation of the Lie to the pinnacle of American politics
is the surest sign that the existing system has come to the end of its rope. The entire political set-up has become so dysfunctional that no serious question can be openly discussed.

8. Scary that the Far Left is making so much sense lately
Just an indication of how far from the Sensible Middle we've moved.

The Far Left now makes so much snese because the Far Right has far fra too much unchecked power and are going hogwild.

9. 1,3, 5, 7
and there is bound to mention of the war on terror that began on 9/11 to help perpetuate the myth that Saddam was involved. I can't believe 70 percent of Americans believe this. It really makes me loose faith in this country and conclude that most of the population are complete ignorant sheep.

11. He's going to slam "those who would say we must leave Iraq"
and will say that the U.S. must finish the job it set out to do, and those who would say "leave Iraq", he will say something like "To those who would say 'leave Iraq' I say the United States of America shall not turn its back on the freedom-loving people of Iraq. They yearn for democracy, for a country free from terror, where every child has access to an education and basic health care, where every man can have a job for a living wage. We shall not rest until these dreams are realized for the Iraqi people".

Considering that Bush denies Americans the same things I expect he will profess to desire for the Iraqis, I can safely say that my predicted statement of his is a lie, Bush is a foreign agent, or both.

Alternatively, the BFEE may have realized some time ago that such statements just won't cut the mustard any more. And if so, I am at a total loss how he is going to spin his speech. I just don't see a way for him to get out of this hole he's dug himself into.

Finally, somewhere in his speech he'll try to slam the Dems somehow.
