Children & Disasters/Wars & the News Media
They did this during Vietnam - for 20 years all you ever saw was soldiers and the "enemy". Every so often there was a picture of a child, but not too often. But when the US started pulling out, all you heard about were the children - who they were going to be raise by communists. How they were being left behind to face a horrible future.

If you notice the storeis coming out of Iraq - no kids. Just soldiers and those wonder Iraqi interim leaders.

But look at the news on the tsunami - it's all about the children. How they're coping, how hard it is on them.

I am sooo tired of being minipulated by the media and the government. These are two disasters. One by nature and the other by Bush. Plus the depleted uranium which is poisoining the Iraqis and the US soldiers. It's a real shame and crime.
