letter to my senators about the election challenge

before I send this letter off, please let me know if it is okay... its pretty late here and my mental faculties are on the blink.


Dear Senator Mikulski,

I strongly urge you to join the challenge to Ohio's electoral votes. It is imperative that we as a nation ensure that all of our votes are counted and that we eliminate as many chances of fraud as we possibly can. Our democracy hinges on being able to promise people that their vote has value. If even one person is unfairly disenfranchised then we are all without the ability to afffect real change. We not only disregard the true will of the people, we also make a mockery of the very basis of our government. This challenge gives us a viable chance to clearly examine our current elections systems, which have given us so many problems in the past few elections, and correct them.
