CNN's Bill Hemmer - "74% of Americans Said They Have Prayed For Victims"
:eyes:

Bill Hemmer just said that 75% of Americans polled have donated to Tsunami victims and "74% say they have Prayed for the victims"

Thanks CNN. THAT is important information indeed. I needed that injection of religion at 7:00 am. Now i can go to work truly fulfilled. It's like a sermon on my TV!

But, CNN, I caution you. Don't you know that your religious indoctrination could result in the massive closing of churches all across this land? i mean, if YOU keep PREACHING to us, there will be NO NEED for any form of organized religion!

Ministers, Bishops & Cardinals will be out of work! If we can keep getting religious updates directly from CNN, there will be no need for the flock to travel to their churches!

THINK OF THE DAMNED CHILDREN CNN! :puke:

2. first of all I don't believe that figure of 75% donated and
74% prayed for the victims

I wonder how many in that pseudo poll also prayed for the victims of the Iraq war, or the people in Sudan, etc., etc., etc

3. No way 74% of the americans donated to the relief fund.
Probably just another number they pulled right out of their ass.

4. See if you really want to get all the prayer out of the way...
...then you should just say: Dear Lord, please look after everyone now and forever, particularly those people who need special attention from you at any point from here on, you know who I mean.

Amen

5. I heard something similar on ABC
I think it was more like 45% have donated, 74% have prayed. I remember thinking 30% were real cheapskates--exceptions of course for those in real financial straits themselves.
