So here it is, the darkest time of the year...
And certainly of the whole election cycle as well, not to apeak of the War and the tsunami.
I see many dis-spirited people around here the last few weeks, and we're not alone.
The pictures of war and devastation play longer and longer on the tube, and we are all exposed more and more to the tube, even the one right in front of us now, if not the television thing in the background somewhere.
We all know more people die this time of year, I've seen 3 people die recently I'm familiar with.
This IS the time for reflection. Fear of the dark keeps us holed up in our houses, we catch the flu this time of year as well as kiss grandma for the only time, maybe.
It's ALWAYS darkest before the DAWN, though. We NEED the darkness to define the light. We NEED all this War and Devastation and Plague and Evil to define for us all how it CAN be, when we make up our mind finally to DEAL WITH those disabilities.
Only by experiencing the Devil can we appreciate the Good.
A time for hunkering down, licking the wounds, re-establishing ties that bind, and passing the word amongst the tribe, while waiting for the return of the Light.
Recognize the revolution of the wheel.
Stay warm, the wheel always turns.
Peace. Live it to make it happen.
Never doubt that a small group of committed people...

2. TheTribe supports us through the dark times...

So it COULD be worse. The Tribe continues, we continue.
We go forward with those who continue to show up.
"The Ones Who Show Up" is a good name for the really committed people, not only here but also in my small community locally.
They determine how the Tribe continues by the simple act of showing up.
Thank YOU for showing up!
Life is good!
