Someone actually was brainless enough to think that let alone stupid enough to admit they thought it? :dunce:

3. Haven't heard any say it but I am sure some are thinking it. But if it |
|
were truly payback, wouldn't it have had to be in Saudi Arabia?

Do a search and see what comes up. We should all send it to the NYT.

5. Good gods! That is sickening. |
|
Jehovah (I'm assuming that this is the blood-thirsty deity in question) murdered all of those innocent children, women, and men in some sort of flawed, Bushian vendetta? Do these freaks believe that their own god is this incredibly flawed and imperfect? What stupidity, what ignorance...

16. Heck, he's done it before loads of times |
|
Noah, the arc, and all that. And the way he forgave the rebels of the Host. Oh, and don't forget the good old-fashioned animal sacrifices.
But it you go to church once a week, he'll save you.

I just had to schedule sniffa for an ass-kicking for declaring Amber Frey to be HOT HOT HOT. Hard to tell if the boy was kidding but since I can't tell that equates to an auto-ass-kicking.

9. I haven't heard that but how would that fundie explain their previous |
|
statements that "9/11 was god's payback for the US supporting homosexuals" (quote not exact but the gist is there)
Those fundies have one vengeful fucking god! That and their "god" has terrible aim, doesn't he realize the "official" story had 15 of the 19 "hijackers" as Saudis?
So by fundie logic god smited 3000 Americans because of the move to a more tolerant society and then as payback for THAT act of god upon Americans, he waylays half a million in Sumatra/India et al? Did "god" think the homosexual agenda had been outsourced and was coming from there?
What a bunch of fuck-knockers.

...I thought the fundies said that 9/11 was god's payback to us for all that homosexuality and free-thinking and stuff! Wasn't it our fault for not being "godly" enough? (even though, in an absolutely strict interpretation of creation, God created gay porn)
The indian ocean nations are being punnished because we were being punnished?
So...i guess...that must mean...it's the Indian Ocean's fault?
*tries to understand the fundie mind* *Aeolian's head explodes*

See http://nevdem.dailykos.com/story/2005/1/6/16135/29716 I'm not sure I see any other interpretation of what he meant by choosing that reading.
