Since he talked about DU and MoveOn yesterday, calling us KOOKS, this is fair return. Oh, but he also called us THE BASE for the Democratic Party, albeit the EXTREME, FRINGE, KOOK base. This was in the context of both the GONZALES so-called "hearings" and the Ohio challenge, which he said were way-too-late ploys for solidifying the base in a long crawl back to power, which he said, was hopeless, no-end-in-sight.

But anyway, today I tried calling-in, to talk about how the wingnuts' use minority wingnuts-TOOLS as puppet nominees. I got through to the screener THREE times. So much for there being callers waiting YEARS to get through.

LIMBOsevic had opened the show by telling the staff to go ahead and put the "open line Friday" jingle on from the get-go because he was too POOPED (drugged) to do his own schtick. But he managed to motor mouth, "What does GONZALES's being poor have to do with his qualifications? Like, the Dems used ESTRADA's being middle class against HIM?"

So the first time, the screener, talking like FAST, said, "What do you want to say to Rush?" I said, "He asked a question at the beginning..." The dude cut me off and said, "It was RHETORICAL, but thanks!" Click.

A few re-dials later, the dude said, "What do you want to say?" I said, "I want to talk about the (Rethugs)'s using token minorities as nominees." He said, "Let me ask him..." Hold, hold, then CLICK!

A few re-dials later, same opening from him. I said, "Well, don't cut me off, you've hung up on me twice..." He screamed, "CALL ME NEXT FRIDAY!!!!!!" CLICK!!!!!!

calling talk shows is an art form for those who wish to dissent. here is how it works at "talk of the nation" (NPR 2-4 p.m. e.s.t., phone # [phone]). call at the top of the hour and lob the screener a softball and deferential question that is right on topic, something that would make the"expert", military analyst or think tank flunky look good. rehearse or script your dissenting opinion while you wait. when Neil Conan puts you on do not hesitate and speak forcefully armed with your hard facts. challenge the shows premise as it is always framed narrowly if not filled with outright hard propaganda. a 60 second interruption can create a glitch that throws the whole show in a different direction. have done this often using different monikers. many people listen to this program. seek out all openings in the matrix, it is quite fallible.

These people (Limbaugh, Hannity, et al) are cowards of the highest order and treasonous propagandists who someday will be remembered as important figures in destroying liberty and the very fabric of a once cutting edge and benevolent society.
