Is the Sea our enemy now?
I've noticed the Thai and Sri Lankese fishermen saying that they view the sea in a different way after the tsunami. Kinda wary.
And quite natural, of course.

Here's a picture from a Norwegian tabloid paper, headlined:
"Giant waves in Skagerrak" (Skagerrak being the sea between Norw. and Denmark).


"Waves up to 20 meters are forecasted in Skagerrak tomorrow. Exposed places to the west and south of Norway may risk damage"

Isn't the sea our friend anymore? I don't buy this kind of thought, as I've grown up by the sea and view it as omnipotent, but friendly.
Abundant with resources :D

Can one incident like this tsunami, an incident occurring once in a millenium, change the way we look at the sea?
