Harry Reid (D-Nevada) is named minority whip

They want to retain perpetually ineffective Terry McAuliffe as party chair.

Tim Roemer is slated to head the party... is this a f***ing joke or what?

We're being played.

2. I think you are more correct than we want to admit
It seems to me most times like the DNC is to the RNC like diet coke is to regular coke.

6. I think they are moderate democrats
I think that naturally means they are going to be closer to the Republicans than most of the people on this board. I don't like them much, and I hope Tim Roemer gets dumped quickly (that said I do like Harry Reid). But I don't think they are literally working for the Republicans.

more constructive things.

Both are heavily influenced by the same corporate masters, however.

10. They are coming off as
either too dumb to believe or they are part of it. It's like they really want the same things as the GOP but know that there has to be just a little opposition that won't make any difference.

14. We worry so much about disruptors here. If DU is a target,
wouldn't the Democratic Party itself be rife with infiltrators?

The DNC is a Republican trojan. That's not to say every or even most DNCers are infiltrators. But I am convinced it is being played by the enemy to sap the Democratic Party of its remaining vitality, and take the option of a credible alternative to the Republican agenda off the table.

The Eastern Bloc had "opposition parties" too.

18. Be careful!!!
You sound like a 'conspiracy' person! LOL! I tend to agree with you. I am tired of seeing the Dems always compromising with the Rethugs! Why don't they stick to their guns and make THEM compromise with US?! Everyone keeps saying..."ooooh, don't rock the boat! He'll get voted out!! OOO! It is too dangerous!!" Then why the FUCK did we vote these people into office if they aren't going to be good to their word?! Stop catering to the fucking Rethugs and cater to the Democrats!!!

19. It might not be quite as bad as that. But, sometimes it seems
as though the answer to your question is yes.
