Remember when liberal/progressive politicians would yell and scream
about injustices being done in our society, or corruption in the other party?

Now the people just yell and scream, and the politicians just can't seem to be convinced.

"Injustice? Corruption? Let's not get hasty, now. I'm sure you just need a nice lie down."

Where the fuck are the firebrands anymore?

3. I remember crying that day
My wife and kids probably thought I had gone round the bend. My wife isn't really political. All I could tell her was he was one of the good guys. What a waste.

2. Calm down, sweetie, you just need a nice cuppa Kool-Aid.
;)

You're right. I do agree that we as progressives should take the moral high ground, but I'm not sure when that morphed into wimpiness.

4. We were instructed repeatedly with Dean
that showing any enthusiasm was a colossal no-no.

I never understood it, but it seemed everybody bought it, even the Left, because the media reinforced it like it was a scandal of some kind.

When will people ever learn that the Right, based on nothing other than intent to destroy, will attack mercilessly? Democrats when they are not "too boring or too wooden, will be portrayed as too angry or fiery or whatever and then ostracized as social misfits. Meanwhile the greatest humiliation in US history, squatting in the whitehouse, goes unchallenged.

5. Ya know, I never did think the 'scream' was that bad.....
I actually liked it. Showed he had spunk, desire, passion, no I wasn't bothered by it at all.

6. I kinda liked it, too.
I never did see why people were so bugged about it, frankly.
