CNN backing away from Armstrong "Paid endorser" Williams
I just Miles O'brien say CNN never knew he was on the payroll of the WH.

1. Bull, CNN is on the payroll of the WhiteHouse
(cf. the David Letterman Sleeping Boy Incident)

They wouldn't have cared if they knew -- unless Williams was getting more than they were.

16. quite true......Kingdom Holdings........also the White Knight of NewsCorp
I wonder how many 'American Firsters' realize that the Saudi Kingdom is helping to form their opinions on world events? Or that this administration is on lease from the House of Saud?

3. i hate that guy
and then he has the gall to act all indignant that people complain about black conservatives..

This is why, Armstrong...cause we can't stand Uncle Toms like you.

Be a conservative, fine....but don't try to throw your moralism at me, when you take payoffs from the Republicans to do their dirty work.

If you accept those payoffs, then you became a house negro. Remember, the basis of being a house negro (in Malcolm X analogy) was that the house negro received better treatment and perks for evoking the values of their masters.

When you get paid by the Republican party to spread their message, you are getting "perks" for doing YOUR master's work.

5. I heard it too...
...so, it was Armstrong "my-trainer-looks-fine-in-his-speedo" Williams, eh? Nancy Skinner kicks his ass every morning on Carol "whom-I-drool-over-but-find-her-intellectually-repulsive" Costello's morning show on CNN.

8. When the story first broke
I sent the link to Aaron Brown at CNN along with a note that we had corresponded before about the links between the Bush administration and the media....especially the Bush Administration using CNN to spread propaganda or psyops......

Brown doesn't like this sort of thing....he believes himself to be a traditional journalist and resents governmental interference with the "fourth estate". I expect some strong words from him tonight or in the very near future....

Every legitimate journalist should be outraged. This is the worst type of corruption of the media.....not only should Armstrong Williams be shunned, disgraced and driven off the public airways, but the Bush administration should be publicly admonished for thier behavior.......

13. do NOT hold your breath.
AB has become one of the biggest Admin whores in the biz.

And WTF *IS* that stuff on his head? It doesn't look well...needs CPR or something. They had to resort to putting a cap on it while he is in the Tropics telling us how wonderful the USA is.
According to AB tsumani victims would have nothing if not for Bush.
