AP: Global survey says political parties seen as most corrupt institutions
PARIS (AP) - Political parties are the public institutions most marred by corruption, an international watchdog group said Thursday in a new global survey marking the United Nations' first International Anti-Corruption Day. Talk about an oxymoron!]

Political parties, chosen by respondents in 36 countries, came out on top as the most corrupt institutions. Second place went to legislatures, with police and court systems tying for third, said the Berlin-based Transparency International's Global Corruption Barometer, which surveyed more than 50,000 people in 64 countries..

In Canada, the United States and much of Western Europe the media were ranked among the top three institutions most affected by corruption.

OK, so can the media go ahead and brainwash the public with these findings? Bring on the one-liners and headlines! "Americans divided on how to fix their corrupt government: Put them in jail or sentence them to death" or "Most Americans are now choosing alternative news sources over the corporate media, because they find it much more honest".

Instead of hearing shit on the news constantly like "Americans divided on how to fix Social Security" -When did they ask for it to be fixed? Or "Americans divided on Iraq" -Only because some of them were told they believed the lies that made the case for invasion in the first place!
