My "I Love Barbara Boxer" Thread
I'm listening to her on the Majority Report. I'm so glad she challenged the Ohio vote. I'm so glad she's fighting for Social Security.

Anyone thought of her for president? She walks the walk, apparently.

1. Didn't you see David Zephyr' thread about drafting her
to run in 2008? I think we are going to have to take our country back as far as fixing how elections are done first.

11. Gross!
I really think we need to stop equating strength and courage with testicles. It's just bad all around, really.

Won't you please try?

I'm sorry to be such a liberal whiner, but I let it go without comment too often.

4. have I got a button for you!

that woman made me cry yesterday. there's a thread in the Campaign forum that asked for a "Boxer Rebellion" bumper sticker too.

and, in the GD_Politics forum there was a Boxer/Tubbs-Jones ticket thread too.

it was amazing to watch them. doubly sad that it was so futile and so hatefully ridiculed by the pukes...

7. I've certainly thought of her as presidential material
She's smart, articulate, attractive and a great Senator. We love you, Barbara. You can run for anything you like and we've got your back.

12. Not only that she's a real savvy campaigner.
She got most of our red counties to vote for her. California really is more red than blue. The liberals are concentrated in the urban areas. The rest of the state is very rural and conservative.

Chip in if you want to show your love. We're trying to get enough to send flowers to several of those who voted yes on Thursday.

16. MY Senator!!!!!
She's amazing! Her writing is just incredible; she's so concise but she gets absolutely everything in there and expressed with such clarity.

How many of you know that she has a special page on her website for children?

She also recommends it, without a trace of condescension, for adults who are too busy to keep up with the issues or prefer simpler language and more of the basics.

I'd vote for her in 2008 even if I had to stand in the rain and wait for eight hours in order to do so.

Don't forget to thank her yourself.

18. why can't she run for President? Boxer/Dean!
Edited on Fri Jan-07-05 09:41 PM by InvisibleBallots
I'm sure we can get another decent Democrat to take her seat in the Senate, hopefully replace Feinswine with a Democrat too. I'm all for it, what about Boxer/Spitzer? Oh man that would be awesome. Or Boxer/Dean? Or Boxer/Sherrod Brown?
