If you could move closer to Canada, would you? |
|
Edited on Sat Jan-08-05 01:13 AM by C.C.D.
You have a choice between...
a. living a half-day drive from the border in a semi-Blue area with a relatively good economy and lots of vegetarians.
b. living 15 minutes from the border in a Red area with a not so great economy and very few vegetarians.
(Pretend you like vegetarians AND snow, okay?) :D

I hate cold weather with a passion, and I'm not a vegetarian. Plus, I live in 'blue' state.

I HATE cold weather!
I live in the SF Bay area, where "cold" means 40F, not -40F!

But still not the SF Bay area!
(And I'm a chick, so shouldn't that be "Baby" instead of "Buddy"?)

I just wish they could warm the place up a little, that's all. Until then, I'll just continue to admire Canada from the Bay.

8. well, I live in a red state, am a vegan, and |
|
like wearing sweaters, so I guess Canada would be alright. I could not be that far from my family though. So I'll stay in this god forsaken red state until the ice shelf melts so I can have beach front property.

Warm and sunny today, no snow.
If I'd been going out to the store, I'd have worn shorts.

I'll tell you this! Anytime I hear a fucking Interior resident laughing at how "Vancouverites can't drive in the snow." I'm gonna lay into him..it was NOTHING but accidents here today.

25. There's nothing wrong with a little cold weather and snow. |
|
It develops character and a cooperative attitude. Look at the Scandinavians. That's what my dad always said, anyhow.
The last few weeks have been very character building around my neck of the woods (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada). Just about -30 Celsius the other night. :eyes:
