Farah of WorldNutDaily suggests a blacklist of people who are Anti-Bush
Edited on Sun Jan-09-05 08:12 AM by ck4829
I am infuriated about this, that creep Farah was a key player in trying to kick Clinton out of office. The hypocrisy sickens and irritates me to no end.

"Let the blacklisting begin. Avoid these enemies of the people. Don't put another penny in their pockets:

Martin "George W. Bush is a moron" Sheen

Alec "Will leave the country if Bush is elected" Baldwin

Jessica "I despise him " Lange

Sean " seems to be willing to sacrifice the children of the world" Penn

Susan "We stand a chance of getting a president who has probably killed more people before he gets into office than any president in the history of the United States" Sarandon

Ed "We've got this guy in the White House who thinks he's a man" Harris

Woody "This is a racist and imperialist war" Harrelson

John "The war and repression that has been loosed on the world by the Bush administration" Cusak

Mike "Our leaders in Washington are out of step with millions of Americans. Inspections work. War won't" Farrell

Robert "This recent government in America I just find disgusting" Altman

George "Bush is a warmonger who wants to invade Iraq" Clooney

Barbra "How could such a destructive man be so popular with the American people?" Streisand

Danny "this administration of liars and murderers" Glover

Sheryl "I think war is based in greed" Crow

Michael "liar, liar pants on fire" Moore

Harry "Colin Powell is an Uncle Tom" Belafonte

Tim "We have seen our democracy compromised by fear and hatred" Robbins

Kevin "If we did what is talking about doing, we'd go down a road from which we would never recover" Spacey (Kevin Very Spacey)

Julia "The man's embarrassing. He's not my president and he never will be either" Roberts

Heath "It is a fight for oil and screw it" Ledger

Dustin "I believe the administration has taken the events of 9-11 and has manipulated the grief of the country" Hoffman

Richard "Bush's plans for war are a bizarre bad dream" Gere

Spike "the German and French governments should be commended" Lee

Robert "I am afraid of Bush" Redford

Johnny "America is like a stupid puppy" Depp

Oliver "Commandante" Stone

Are there more? Sure. I could fill a book."
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=34436

To the leader of WorldNutDaily: Free Speech works both ways, and if a person says they are afraid of Bush or calls him a liar, that does not automatically equal treason.

The only thing that is treason here is the idea that Farah has, which in reality he wants to silence anybody who is different from him and the rest of the RW.

13. I am not sure on what he bases his conservatism...
And being a conservative doesn't get you on my poo-poo list but supporting bush does
I know plenty of real conservatives who voted in all of the races and just didn't cast a vote for president... my brother for example

47. Duval is a Fundie. Saw him on the TBN network the other night, being
interviewed. Said all the typical stuff, enough so you could tell he drank the Kool-Aid. Sad, I used to like him as an actor, but my disgust with Fundies will prevent that from now on.

We do similar things here though. Truth is most people will sell out if they want to do something bad enough or if it stands to benefit them.

25. Not to mention this fellow, who was hounded, blacklisted, and run out of
the US.

Mr Chaplin is still a British citizen, despite living in America for almost 40 years, and has no automatic right to re-enter the country.

Under US law, grounds for denying a foreigner admission include "moral turpitude" and "political affiliations".

Charlie Chaplin has been under severe pressure in the US over accusations from Senator Joseph McCarthy and the House Un-American Activities Committee that he is associated with left-wing causes.

Mr Chaplin has been on the FBI's Security Index since 1948, and he was one of over 300 people blacklisted by Hollywood film studios and unable to work after he refused to cooperate when he appeared before the Committee.

It would so hamper them financially to blacklist every anti-Bush American that they'd collapse the U.S. economy.

34. And so it begins...slowly, quietly
Funny, since the elections, I have not been polled by Zogby once. Wonder if that has anything to do with my signature being on the "wrong" petitions, or my deposition about recounts in Ohio where laws were broken.

Next time I fly, I imagine there will be a little "ssi" down on the bottom of my tickets...oh wait, they are already there. That explains the wand I get every time I fly....EVERY time.

42. I also saw it on a ticket
Edited on Sun Jan-09-05 04:59 PM by mtnester
a lawyer I spoke with from New York that flew in to Ohio who was representing the Greens showed me his ticket, he had it too. He stated that others on the flight did not have it, and he was singled out for the wand and full pat down.

Now, I don't know for sure if it really means anything, but it made me freak enough, and could explain why I ALWAYS get pulled out for the airport grope, and my husband never does. We are flying in March and I will be looking for it.

On edit, it is very small letters on the bottom of the ticket.

Movie studios are mostly owned by large media conglomrates. Many of these actors/actresses are very popular and will bring people to the movies.

It is not time for a Hollywood blacklist (as it stands right now), but it may happen sometime in the future.

52. No, more like every few weeks....
Someone will post a link from some off-kilter site with a list of supposedly-Republican artists. Generally, the list is challenged by many of us; a few of the artists may be well-known partisans but many are guilty of nothing more than having been polite to a Republican within the last 20 years.

This list is amusing because these are successful artists. The right-wing stalwarts are generally pathetic has-beens.
