Friend and I debated about it this idea for a while. She--who believe this election was not stolen--said she thought it would be his lack of a reason to go into Iraq.

I say that is just the tip of the iceberg. I think history will focus on not only the Iraq scam but also the "elections" and how scam the fundies to make them believe he was this rightous leader.

What about you? What will become a footnote and what will take up the pages of the history text.

1. This totally ill-advised war and the ensuing
body counts on both sides. And I'm thinking this will be a very long thread!

2. On accounting principles, there is no proof that anyone has
legitimately won an election in decades. Since we can't get proof positive that every ballot was counted and that the true will of the people was evidenced by those votes, I say Bush will be known for taking the fascist element of our leadership and turning them into Nazis, complete with disenfranchisement, bigotry and torture.

5. Uhh....
"Winners" write the history.

They censored hemp use history and also native American extermination details along with calling the pirates, Columbus, Cortez, Balboa, etc.. "Discoverer's" among so much more bullshit "history".

What makes you think there will be an accurate historical record?

9. Bush should be known for erroneous believe that he is a leader and that he
is wise... for he is neither thus, tying in present history with ancient history and the politicians of Socrates' days--those who were believed to be wise, those who thought they were wise and were demonstrably not, and those who hated and persecuted people like Socrates for showing them up for the farse that they really were.
