1. I'd say probably a 9.
Gingrich is the poster child for the IGMFU (I Got Mine, F--- U)Republicans. But he is eminently beatable. If he somehow gets nomiated, he will probably get blasted in the general election - he's too much of an asshole.

2. After Chimpy's "mandate", scum bags will come out..
of the woodwork to run on the GOP ticket. If The American Idiot will vote for the Giggling Simian Asshole, they'll vote for douchbags like Gingrich. More of the same.

3. I hope to God he does run....

He was voted the most hated man in America right before he resigned from as Speaker. He was Speaker of the House and the whole nation saw him as a right wing radical. If ever the true face of wingnutism can be displayed it would be if Gingrich ran. No more kidding around--I think most Americans would vote against the man who shut the government down, said children ought to be put in orphanages rather than foster care, and whined like a baby when Clinton didn't invite him to ride in AF1 while traveling to the prime minister of Israel's funeral. He's not likable--exactly the type of Repub candidate we want.

PS He also asked his first wife for a divorce while she was in hospital recovering from cancer surgery--this man is a true scumbag. We should start a Gingrich '08 campaign asap, in my opinion.

12. I know, but if this came to pass,
I honestly believe he has too much baggage---we would wipe the floor with him. He cannot even PRETEND to be human--and the whole country knows it; even the fence sitters that swung for shrubya.

5. In related news...
Santa Claus doesn't rule out a presidential run, and the Tooth Fairy is thinking of throwing her hat in the ring as well. President Gingrich? Ha!

8. He's quite an evil bastard with many skeletons
in his closet, many we know of but i'm sure there are plenty left in there that will see the light of day if he actually runs. He's got new book out so really it wouldn't surprise me if he was doing this to drum up book sales.

A fucking joke. Everyone knows what you did to your wife when she had cancer. try to run away from that.

would make him unelectable, but don't forget we just elected an alcoholic doper for a second term. OOPS I forgot he didn't win even though he will be inaugurated in a couple of weeks. "We" is a very poor word choice and I apologize profusely!
