Matthews is once again trashing Dan Rather, and hectoring his guests to agree that 'if this story had been about Kerry, it would have received much more scrutiny'.

Really? Three words, asshat: Swift Boat Vets (whom you, Matthews, allowed a forum on your program to spew their lies).

He then finished with a smarmy comment about how the networks would have to relocate to Kansas City in order to 'speak to' the red states (as though they're the only states that matter!).

Another clue, asshat: the city of Kansas City overwhelmingly voted for John Kerry - about 75% to 25%. What an ignorant bastard he is.

8. Since I've permanently

tuned out cablenews I've noticed several things: my heart is no longer in my throat; my heart rate has stabalized, and that nervous twitch thing my eye did stopped.

I highly recommend tuning these idiots out, they only serve to lessen the quality of one's state of mind.

I believe it mentioned CBS' "false reports".

Clearly a lot of this is NBC pissing on CBS to spread around the stench of flaming pickup trucks. Or was it Pintos?

But that, and Tweety go too far. As far as I know, none of the FACTS of Rather's report have been disproved.

And the documents themselves, while of questionable origin, have not been shown to be forgeries, despite the fact that every ill-informed talking head on tv today has called them that.
