Dean Won't Back Away From a Fight
One of the things I admire about Howard Dean is that he won't back away from a fight the way Al Gore did. We kept waiting and waiting for Gore to stop being such a nice guy. Even during the Florida thing, Gore acted like it was Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.

I don't think Dean will let the Republicans get away with their shenanigans. During the presidential debates, why was Al Gore so insufferably nice? If there's a one-on-one debate between Bush and Dean, Dean won't wimp out.

1. I agree; I loved the way he stuck it to Arnold today.
The risk is being known as a hatchet man like Bob Dole, but Team Dean seems to be spinning it as being a "straight-shooter."

9. I agree.
How's that song go? - "kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down." Should be the Democratic Fight Song for the Presidential campaign.

3. Gore was "nice"...
...because his advisors got nervous because in the first debate, they said he was "mean", just as the head of the RNC is saying all the candidates (except maybe Lieberman) are so "mean" now.

F'em...we need to be mean, not nasty, but certainly mean. These woosie beyotches certainly didn't have any issue with attacking and slandering a sitting President a few years ago, and that was with an actually elected President who wasn't steering this nation in the wrong direction.

No, I don't think Dean is going to be backing down from the fight...

5. "I agree with that." As Gore would say.
As for fighting, heard on local (detroit) show people talking about how Dean supporters a month ago were at a fair with a "Dean" table set up.
Finally a democrat going after the youth vote and regular citizens.
Problem with Gore and the Democratic Machine is there is no Democratic Machine.

I think I couldn't be more happy with the way things are going ..Dean surprises me with their latest strategy!

Like out there in California and talkin' about his staying with the Dem Base and Southerners, independents, and typical non-voters!

Have I mentioned that we're providing housing for the Nashua
regional campaign director? I think it's safe to say that our
household will provide at least two safe Dean votes in January. :-)

And I'm ESPECIALLY proud of the local "Volunteer of
the Week" on the Nashua regional campaign (scroll down):

12. Love the site, Atlant!
Thanks! And this..about Sam Simon..

"Sam recently finished his first year in University and has decided to take next semester off to dedicate the prime of his life to making sure that Howard Dean wins the New Hampshire Primary convincingly"

And this about Marc Baranov...

"Political Experience: Field Coordinator in St. Paul, MN on Paul Wellstone’s 2002 Senate Re-election campaign.
Marc is currently living with Nashua super volunteers Jan and Atlant Schmidt in Nashua and loving it - great couch for sleeping!"

10. Dean will not be "Gored or McCained."
That's why I like him too. He's seen "this part of the show" before and he knows what the thugs are capable of and believe me, he is ready.

Supposedly, Karl Rove was trolling Vermont to get "dirt" on Dean. Let's see what's he got.

11. d'accord
one of the reasons I like Dean the best is that he is passionate and angry. Other candidates can talk about heinous things Bush has done in a monotonous way. Dean rolls up the sleeves and starts yelling.

The doctor is in!:kick:
