Besides Armstrong I mean...I'm a bit late on current events.

4. Hmmm, let me see if I remember the whole thing.
Letterman had been showing this clip of Bush** giving some speech, and behind the podium in the video there was this kid who could barely stay awake and kept nodding off...it was funny. So anyway, CNN makes this claim that the boy had been superimposed into the video and was never really there. Letterman balked and it turned out he was right all along and the video had never been doctored at all, it was legit. Then, I don't remember the details exactly, but somehow it was revealed that the White House staff had somehow been influencing CNN to make this fraudulent claim because it was an embarrasment to the White House. Ringing any bells? The whole point is, the White House shouldn't really be directly influencing the press at all. Google "Letterman CNN Bush" and I'm sure it'll pull up handful of articles about it.
