1. How to tell a liberal from a conservative:
Liberals tend to have an ironic sense of humor. Conservatives tend to have a moronic sense of humor. I don't think those poor Conservatives understand that much of what we say on DU (including our monikers) is tongue in cheek. Don't blame them, blame their IQs.

5. this is true
heh i put "ironical" down as an adjective my friends use to describe me in college apps.

my favorite comment i've received in this regard was "your liberal cynicism is most refreshing."

funny when they try. very sad. 30,000 posts per day. I bet if we said 25,002 they would add three and say that was their total. little kids do that.

Although I detect a certain insecurity.

8. Bullies Ruining the Nation
It's so obvious, they base their views on what they have learned through propaganda and its (taxpayer paid) propaganda ministers (rush, slanty, etc.).
Would you consider "win by deceit" to be a good example for our children? How many kids want to grow up to be just like President Bush? Scary thought, however unlikely. How about little Billy looking up to slant-head as a role model. "I wanna be an opinionated blowhard when I grow up."
History will show the results of his agendas.
Remember these are the same freepers who thought terrorism was not a threat until AFTER 9-11. This is very important! Before 2000 terrorism was a concern of Bill Clintons, and he used it to "distract from the Lewinsky scandal. Bush didn't take the threat (PDB) seriously for POLITICAL reasons, trying to distance himself from Clinton as much as possible. What was the result of that?
The public now is seeing right through the namecalling propagandist tactics! Truth trumps propaganda.
Scary nightmare for the freepers, huh. I bet they all wish Bush was a little more "honest". Well you vote with the Republican President you have, not the one you want.
