Please, let's just go back to a time when morals were moral, politicians followed the law, and America was safe.

It seems weird that John Kerry, a man who fought in Vietnam, was constantly under attack from the Swift Liars. These people were proven to be liars or they were proven to be contradictory.

"Larry Thurlow, who commanded a Navy Swift boat alongside Kerry in Vietnam, has strongly disputed Kerry's claim that the Massachusetts Democrat's boat came under fire during a mission in Viet Cong-controlled territory on March 13, 1969. Kerry won a Bronze Star for his actions that day. But Thurlow's military records, portions of which were released yesterday to The Washington Post under the Freedom of Information Act, contain several references to "enemy small arms and automatic weapons fire" directed at "all units" of the five-boat flotilla. Thurlow won his own Bronze Star that day, and the citation praises him for providing assistance to a damaged Swift boat "despite enemy bullets flying about him."

But, the 'liberal' media spent more time on a 'forged' Bush memo than it did on this! Why!?

Why is it that the man who failed to prevent 9/11 is regarded by some to be a national hero?

Why is it that the Republican Party is connected to 'moral values'. Is going to war based on lies and the reports of yes-men moral? Is Tom DeLay, the most unethical man in Congress moral?

Why do Republican friendly groups like Diebold count our votes?

I think it's time we consider all of these questions, and we need stop America from becoming Bizzaro capital of the world.

congratulations, and i wonder how all those things were allowed to happen while our elected officials sat by and watched.

i realize it was the "you are with us or against us garbage" and fear after 9/11.

funny thing is no one in NYC was buying it. it was the rest of the country that was scared to death.

thats why you never saw new yorkers interviewed. 9/11 was used to gain control over the people then the elected officials. but they should have known better. they should have insisted on more accountability.

When morals were morals and politicians followed the law and America was safe? Safe from what?

It wasn't in my lifetime, and I have serious doubts about the time before I was born. The only change I've noticed is that the criminals who run things are more openly committing their crimes and even bragging about them, with the full support of approximately half the people. They have better technology is all. And it's possible that I just wasn't paying attention before I started noticing.

So I really don't know what time you're talking about. And why go back? Why not move ahead to something new and different and better? Because I don't believe the other thing ever existed.
